Today and the Action Center
The day's numbers, live orders and everything that needs attention, on one screen.
Today is the first tab owners and managers see in the staff app. It answers two questions: how is the day going, and is anything going wrong?
The day's numbers
Sales, the number of orders, the average ticket and unpaid orders for the current business day, split by order type (pickup, delivery, dine-in).
Note: A business day does not end at midnight. By default it starts at 06:00, so an order at 01:30 counts towards the evening before. This keeps late-night service in one day.
Live tiles
New, in the kitchen, ready, out for delivery and scheduled orders. Tap a tile to open that list on the Orders tab.
Quick actions
- Pause or busy mode opens the Service sheet (below).
- 86 an item takes you to the menu switches, see Menu availability.
- Close day starts the closing, see Closing the day.
Needs attention (Action Center)
The Action Center lists problems before customers notice them:
- orders running late (past their ready time);
- prints that failed;
- a kitchen tablet that has gone quiet;
- dishes that have been off for more than a day;
- a previous day that was never closed.
Each alert has a button that takes you to the right screen, and can be snoozed for 30 minutes.
Busy and pause
Pause or busy mode opens the Service sheet:
- Busy adds extra minutes to every ready time and tells customers to expect a longer wait.
- Paused stops new online orders until the time you choose. Staff can still take orders.
- Each channel (online, delivery, pickup, dine-in) can be on, busy or paused on its own. For example, pause delivery on a rainy night and keep pickup open.
Customers with the ordering page already open see the change within a minute.
