How we handle personal data on plattivo.com and in the Plattivo plugin. The short version: we collect very little, and your restaurant's data stays on your own site.
Last updated: [DATE OF PUBLISHING]
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit plattivo.com or contact us, and how the Plattivo plugin handles data on your own website. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Plattivo is made by LogicWeft ("we", "us"), [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND TYPE, e.g. "LogicWeft, a sole proprietorship"], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], India. You can reach us at [email protected].
This website (plattivo.com)
No accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics. The site is a set of static pages. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not set cookies ourselves.
Some data is processed by the services that deliver the site:
- Hosting. Our server, run by Hostinger, keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are kept for a short time and are not used to identify you.
- Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare for speed and protection against attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and may set a strictly necessary security cookie. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts. Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when you open the page. See Google's privacy policy.
When you email us or ask to be notified at launch
The "Notify me" form opens your own email app and sends us an email; nothing is stored by the website itself. When you email us, we receive your email address, name (if your email shows it) and whatever you write.
We use it only to reply to you and, if you asked, to send you the launch announcement. We don't sell it, share it for marketing or add you to other lists. Ask us at any time and we'll delete it.
The Plattivo plugin on your website
Plattivo runs on your WordPress and WooCommerce site. Your menu, orders and your customers' details (names, phone numbers, addresses, order notes) are stored in your own database, under your control. LogicWeft does not receive that data.
As the restaurant running the website, you are responsible for your own customers' data and for having a privacy policy on your site. WooCommerce and WordPress include tools to help, such as personal data export and erasure.
If we ever add an optional feature that sends data to us (for example licence checks for Plattivo Pro, or opt-in usage statistics), we will describe it here and in the plugin before it is switched on.
Purchases of Plattivo Pro
Plattivo Pro is sold through the WooCommerce Marketplace (WooCommerce.com). Payment and billing details are handled by WooCommerce.com under its privacy policy. We may receive the details needed to provide support and licences, such as your name, email address and the site URL.
Legal basis (for visitors in the EU and UK)
We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website and answering messages, and on your consent when you ask to be notified at launch. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep data
Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request, and launch-notification addresses until the launch email has been sent or you ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept only for a short period.
Children
This site and Plattivo are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
