Customer emails
What customers receive, and how to change the wording.
Plattivo uses WooCommerce's emails rather than sending its own from somewhere else, so your email settings, sender name and any email plugins keep working.
WooCommerce's emails, with restaurant details
WooCommerce's order emails (order received, processing, completed, and the store's "New order" email) gain a restaurant block: the order type, the time, the order number, the table or delivery address, and a link to the tracking page.
Plattivo's three emails
| Sent when | |
|---|---|
| Order ready for pickup | A pickup order is ready |
| Order on the way | A delivery order is dispatched |
| Order not accepted | You reject an order (with the reason and whether it was refunded) |
Each is under WooCommerce → Settings → Emails, where you can turn it off or change its subject, heading and text.
Placeholders
Subjects and texts can use:
| Placeholder | Becomes |
|---|---|
{plattivo_number} | The order number |
{plattivo_type} | Pickup, delivery or dine-in |
{plattivo_promised_time} | The ready time |
{plattivo_tracking_url} | The tracking page link |
{plattivo_table} | The table |
WooCommerce's own {order_number} and {order_date} work too.
Tip: If emails do not arrive, the problem is usually the site's mail sending, not Plattivo. An SMTP plugin fixes most cases.
Still stuck? Email [email protected] and a real person will reply, usually within two working days.
